What this book is about: - Book is one of the best collection about local superfoods that are neglected in the current age of digital information. It covers some of the basic foods that are  used in our daily household of almost every Indian like Ghee, Banana, Kaju, Rice, Coconut, and Sugar.  Apart the regular superfoods, book also covers lesser known ones like Ambadi, Aliv, Kokum and Jackfruit. Book also explains how the wisdom of dadi stood the test of the time against the medical advice which keeps on changing every year. Author supplemented the claim by citing example of how western media changed its opinion about having the fat in diet over a period of time. Author busted the various myths pertaining to these superfoods which are currently fed to the mind of a normal person. Author has given details of preparations and usage of every superfood in detail for clarity. Author has also deliberated upon use of these superfoods as home remedies for common ailments.
